Almost 9 weeks to go and no girls name - not a sniff?

it is such a hard decision!!!!! I certainly didnt realise how difficult it would be to find a name! :O My OH surname is one syallable and quite plain, so feel i need something with more than one syllable as a first name although our faves at the mo are Zack or Jack. We shall see how we get on. :) xx

Laughing at u saying holly and Erin don't go with his stupid surname! Haha, I had the exact same. I wanted ruby but surname is currie. Just seemed too close to rhyming slang and my dad pointed this out and took the piss!!! I almost suggested she have my surname so I could use ruby! But felt wrong.

Do you like quite traditional names? Xx

i thought id never find a name, tbh, there was just none that i like at ALL - then i went back to Ashton - because i wanted an autumny name as its an autumn baby - i actually searched for autumn themed baby names first and found Ashton. Its stuck and now i couldnt imagine calling our little guy anything else! xx Good luck with finding a name!

We were team yellow as well and had our boys name before my bfp but we still don't have a girls name!
Thank god he was a boy!

In the end we agreed we would pick 3 names we liked and put them in a hat and pick one out. I think once we saw the name we would either love it or hate it.

We were team yellow and had about 15 girls names, most of which we agreed on, and about 5 boys names that we didn't both agree on. Luckily it was a girl, but she wasn't either of our personal faves (Maya or Eliza). I just stared at the list for ages and drew a blank, hubby came back in (from doing the obligitory phone calls) looked at the list and said, how about Sophia. I looked at her and said perfect!!

Although we're going to find out the sex I'm determined not to have a specific name chosen, as I want to make the decision once I've seen him/her. If we've already chosen a name and it jsut doesn't fit it's harder to go back.

We really need time in advance if it's a boy though..!!!
