Air bags

Hi All,

I was chatting to my boss today and he asked me whether i should be driving in a car with airbags whilst pregnant. Hadnt even thought if it.. anyone know?

most cars these days have airbags and are much safer for it. if you had a crash and the airbags went off hun i think you would be safer for it

You know I was worrying about this the other day! I decided that if we were to crash, I would rather have one but make sure my seat is as far back as comfortable (as its people who are closer to it that get hurt)

I think I have read somewhere that it is ok as long as the air bag in the steering wheel isnt directly positioned to go off directly on your bump, TBH I wold much prefer an air bag going off near there than a steering wheel impaled in the bump
