i am sooo broody and really want to ttc soon lol .

recommendations for age gaps plz?? xx

Well I don't think there's a 'perfect' age gap!! Jacob will be 20 months old when this little fella arrives and I'm so glad I'm having them close together. My brother and sister have 15 months between them and as much as they clash, they love each other dearly and have a much better bond with each other than I do with the 6 and 7 year age gaps between me and them. Go for it if you wanna TTC hun :D x

my girls are 13 months apart and from the youngest to this baby will be 5 years, i dont think theres a perfect age gap, just when you feel ready.

My 2 are gonna be 4years apart. but im hoping to have another 1 in maybe another 2years but i dunno yet. i guess its what you feel right with.

Iv seen my daughter go through all her bad stages so i know what im letting myself in for this time :) x

My 2 are 27 months apart and they are very close but I would have liked them even closer together. We are ttc no 3 end of this yr and there will be about a 4 yr age gap between my youngest and number 3 so it will be like starting again which is what I wanted this time. I have firends with kids who are 11 months apart and that is perfect for them so its each to there own, whatever works for you! xx

i found out i was ten weeks pregnant when my daughter was only 3 months old  it has been such a joy and i wouldnt change it at all everyone calls them the twins lol and i think although zander wasnt planned and escaped through a condom having sex once haha!! i definatally would do it again given my time all over again - zander will be 2 yrs old a week to 2 weeks after this baby is born and im slightly worried about the bigger age gap but i dont think i could have delt with three young children all at the same time so im happy its worked out this way and im happy that it has happened with a gap coz it has given me a break this time round but i dont thinkl there will be anymore after this one coz i wont lie - its not always easy peasy having them so close thogether but as i say i would never take it back now and would do it all again at the drop of a hat :D - if your ready hunni go for it they will grow up together and might be closer for it there was 3 yrs in between me and my brother and we still dont get on haha!!

I have 23 mths between my two boys, and that's great, and then 13 mths between boy number 2 and my daughter , and they are like twins really. As boy and girl, and very different the don't get on if the older one is around, as they would both choose him over each other, but when he is away at Nanas or on scout camp etc, they get on really soo well .

I would recomend the small aged gap, as although hard work, most of the things you do, todlers etc are for the same age group or stage so it makes it easier. I have now one in scouts and two in cubs , so less pickup and drop offs!

this one will be 8 years and 10 mths after my youngest! ho hummmm how did that happen

Go for it Lisa!

Mine are 11 month and 4 days apart in age and i can honestly say i will never have 2 close together again! I will at least wait until my youngest has an understanding of things and can talk before i even TTC again. Dont get me wrong, i love my babies soooooo much and i woudn't change things for the world but Myyyyy Goddd, every day is a challenge!! Individualy, they are no bother, but together thay are HARD WORK!

I dont think there is a perfect age gap but IMO i think once the youngest is walking, talking and understanding, then i would go for it xx

Ohhhhhhhhh Lisa! I knew you were broody but I didn't think THIS much  I have no real advice apart from only you know when it should happen, look back on the early days.. Do you think you could handle a newborn along with a 1 year old? My friend has 2 under 1 and is doing amazing now the 2nd one is up a little bit but she did find it really hard.. I'm well excited for you lol keep us posted won't you? You are a stranger nowadays :( xxx

There will be 6 and a half years between DD and Seb when he arrives x as others have said I honestly don't believe there is a perfect age gap x I'm really happy to have such a big age gap as she understands loads and is already excited to help out (let's see how long that lasts!) but I can understand why people choose to have children close together in age! I suppose my point if view is that when it's right for you is the right age gap x

My two are a year and 17 days apart and I wouldn't change it for the world! It is bloody hard work, especially with them both being at the same stage in terms of physical development! I've got to have eyes on the back of my head! I always said I'd wait til katie was in school but that obv didn't happen! I don't know what I'd do if I had a bigger age gap now!

My two are just under 19 months apart and I think it's a lovely age gap. Sam does get annoyed with Toby sometimes because he follows him around and always wants to play with whatever Sam is playing with but they play together so nicely sometimes too :cloud9: Hopefully they'll be really close as they grow up

aww i know febmum but im back now! yeah im def broody ... but my wee family are going so spain in 2/3 months so im tempted to wait till then then go again... ill prob tell everyone it was an accident tho!! lol hows odhran anyway?? wud u b tempted to go again hun?? xx

Woohoo :yay:.. Some people like to have their babies all close together, so that all of the "baby" stuff is all over and done with.. Would you really tell them that lol I would love another Lisa, but when I sit back and think about it deeply.. There is so much I want to do and have before I even dream of having another baby, even though I would love one, I would like to drive.. I would like to study and go into a different field of work.. And I would like to enjoy Odhrán and would also like him to be older to be involved with a new baby and not for him to be kinda put out for a new baby iykwim? I can't wait to have another though.. I fell preg first month trying so I wouldn't be planning on "trying" I would probably just go with the flow and hope that everything happens as easily and goes as well as the first time round.. Hows Madison? xxxxx

lol i feel preg first month trying both times too lol... aww i defo know what you mean i started driving lessons today!! :D i need my test for her appts and i am so independent anyway i hate relying on people! if i wait to the end of the year therell be like nearly 2 years between them how scary is that well nearly!

Madisons gr8 she sleeps at least 12 hours a night and is taking 4 bottles a day along with 3 spoon feeds. shes teething but touch wood no pain really and still no tears so i defo cant complain oh and i had her at the beach loads in the warm water had her in the sea and to the pool once a week and she loves the water!! even tho its freezing haha ...

and what bout my wee SIL?? :D xxx

Sounds brill :yay: Good luck with the driving..

Wow lol you have defo got a good baby mrs! Odhráns a great sleeper too.. Must have rubbed off on his when he was in my tummy because all I done was snooze  Aww bless her! I haven't had Odhrán to the swimmers yet I'm still feeling way to self conscious to be prancing about in something suitable for the swimmers  he loves the bath though so I'm presuming he'll love the pool too! He has just started daily spoonfeeding I had been trying him with bits and bobs over the last few weeks but now he gets his fruit pot every lunchtime, but have let him taste some rusks, baby dinners and desserts, just to see what he does and doesn't like.. He HATES the baby porridge his face was priceless when he tasted it lol so cute though! He's teething too, gums are very hard and lumps so I'm thinking we will have one soon! Hard to believe we are talking about babies now instead of bumps! xxx

There's 2 yrs 8 months between my eldest 2,then 5 years between my middle son and my youngest and will b 4 yrs ams 3 months between my youngest and this 1...the smaller age gap was easier although they fight like cat and dog now I would have preferred a smaller age gap wiv my others but circumstances prevented it xx

aww class!! i know and so close together in age too. i read in one of the weaning books that it can take up to 15 attempts of the spoon to get used to some flavours as it can send there taste buds wild lol... so im like 1... 2... 3... hahaha my poor child . aww jesus you havent pickings on you, i look like a beached whale at the pool but i dont care cos i really dont think anyone luks at ya everyone too paranoid bout themselves lol... madison loves the bath too i squeeze the sponge of water over her eyes every bath a few times cos i dont want her to be afraid of it and she loves it . have you got his highchair yet?? xx

i get the feeling my son is gonna be in his 20's before i have another with all the problems im having at the moment...

if i concieve this month my son will be coming up 8...i didnt plan to have such a big gap, but i knew after i had my LO 7yrs ago that i didnt want another baby with "the ex" he done nothin gto help me and i was basically a single mum the moment he was born, despite him sticking around for 2yrs.
It put me off having another, but now i just know im ready and i think my LO is ready too, he keeps asking when he can have a little brother....if only it was that easy lol..

If you feel you are ready for another baby, then go 4 it, no-one should tell you what to do.

My mum had me and my sister 3years apart...then my brother 12years after me! she regrets it now but would never change my brother, she wouldve just had him earlier on :)

cant wait to hear your BFP announcement lol xx

ooops i should add, i know im ready cos i know my OH is the one for me, hes caring and so desperate to be a daddy :), whereas my ex didnt care xx
