i came off the pill in Oct last year and my number of cycle days lasted 56 days, then 45 days and eventually went down to a 28 day cycle. This month i am currently on day 45 but 4 tests say BFN! What i need to know is can the cycle days increase after coming down to a normal 28 day cycle? Hubbie is convinced i am pregnant but the tests dont agree.

WelcomeMy cycles use to be spot on 28 days but now they are anything from 25 days to 167days so yes your cycles can increase. If you are stressed then cycles can become longer. I would go to the doctors if your cycles are long again. When you test make sure you use first morning urine as they are more likely to pick up the hormones.

It can sometimes take up to a year for your cycles to become normal again after the pill, I wouldn't worry too much about it as even stressing about it can delay your period, but for reassurance maybe go and checked out by the doc.
