Hey ladies sorry I've been neglecting you recently I've tried to post as much as I can on my phone coz I've been too shattered and full of cold to get the laptop out :(
I'm worried my bump is too small, this is my third and I was alot bigger by now with the girls!! Baby is very active most days and last night really hurt me :( I've never known such an active baby.. Hasn't got a sleep pattern yet :( just goes for it 24/7 then has a day off to worry me :(
Bump seems to have got smaller over the past few weeks..
I was supposed to have scans every two weeks for growth and cervical length but coz my cervix was 37 at 20w scan they said further scans were unnecessary :( but what if baby isn't growing like it should? How can I tell? Can't afford a 4d scan right now or I'd do it for piece of mind..

Talk to ur mw if its worrying u Hun! But it is probably that baby is in a different position. If baby is still active then I am sure everything is fine

Just took this.. I just look tubby still!
Not looking for compliments or anything, just honest opinions on how this looks for 25w tomorrow for a third time mum!

This baby is everywhere lol!! High low left and right all at the same time.. My bump is all baby! Lol!

Even my mum has asked if all is ok for a couple of weeks as if I know and not telling her :(

All babies and pregnancies r different hunnie baby is probably led different to ur previous. X

I know.. Just surely by 25 weeks I should at least look in my twenties :(

Ur obviously getting worked up by it so ring ur mw and she cn put ur mind at rest

Hi Jayceemamma i am in same positionas u and my bump looks bout the same !!! saw midwife on fri and she didnt seem worried so try not to either . putting my small bump down too my 2 stone weight loss before got pregnant i'm still curvy at size14/16 but this is the lowest my bmi has been in long time !!! hope this helps. if baby is active would say they r getting all they need xxxx

Thanks :) I was 8st, went up to 10st at around 20w now I'm 9.5st :(
All of my weight gain has gone to my arms legs and boobs lol went from 34b to bursting out of a 36e lol!

Another concern is they were supposed to check growth with the cervical length every few weeks and I'm worried it's not being checked when its supposed to be..

Would mention bout the measurements to midwife but would take it as a good sign that they were happy with the last onesImageUploadedByTapatalk1312110850.342628.jpg this is me today. I worry too as have had growth problems with the other 2 and haven't got a scan till 34 weeks xxxx

I'll be totally honest bump does look slighty smaller than you'd imagine for someone at 25 weeks, with their 3rd- BUT - it doesn't mean that baby isn't growing properly or does it mean something is wrong with baby.

You said you were supposed to get scanned regulary before you got ur 20wk scan, why was that? Were u measuring small at MW appointments?

When I had my 1st I didn't even have a slight visable bump untill i was 7 months gone. My MW was worried and sent me for regular scans, I was still very neat even towards the end ( I posted my full term pic in Tri 2 bumps a while ago) they told me baby would be born small but was born at a normal weight, they said she was just snuggled right in. It made me a bit paranoid because I was a heavy smoker before I fell with that pregnancy and I went cold turkey with the smokes, I was convinced that ppl were thinking I was still on them and thats why baby was small, but I wasn't. One of my friends smoked all way thro hers (didn't quit) and her baby was 2lbs heavier than mine, its just one of those things I suppose.

Maybe you should say to ur MW that its making u very anxious ect, and would she be able to measure/scan or something to put ur mind at rest. I've not had any sort of measurments at all with this baby.

Try not to worry too much, i know its hard though

Also asked mw when they start measure tour fundal height she said not till 28 weeks. Will soon send us for check ups if they think we r small !! Got my consultant appointment at 28 weeks so will c what happens then xxx

Thanks everyone I've taken all your advice in.. :)
I've not seen anyone since 20w scan and noone has measured my bump or even felt it! I didn't get fetal weight in my scan records like others did so I wouldn't know if they could compare that easy?
I'm defo gonna call them tomo and see what they can do coz I defo should b a bit bigger by now..

Lewisca ur bump is alot like mine then really..

I was meant to have growth and cervical scans every two weeks from 20w coz I have cin3 treatment and it could cause preterm labour and I'm assuming growth probs too.. But my cervix was above 30 so they didn't think I needed more scans..
It's written in my notes to have growth scans at 24,28,30 etc... So I think I'll request them. I'm due to move hospitals so if my current one refuses I'll see if I can get it from the new one..

I don't want to miss any probs I'd rather be safe than sorry!
Thanks again :) x

Maybe its because its a boy this time? Thus different to the two girls in size and activity?

Maybe its because its a boy this time? Thus different to the two girls in size and activity?

That's what I initially thought.. If I didn't have the growth scans scheduled before I may not have been so concerned..
Nub theory says girl but then nub theory said tiff was having a boy 100% and she's having a girl so there's hope for us having a boy yet :) can't see myself with a boy tbh.. Think we will have a bunch of girls :)

Were you really big with your girls? What weights were they?

You've still got plenty of time to catch up, I saw fotos on another forum of a lady who had basically zero bump even at 40 weeks and still gave birth to a 6lb baby.

:)

I was quite big with the girls.. They were 7lb6 and 7lb5... I'm wondering if it may be coz this one isn't the girls dads.. Their dad was an 8lb baby (the first born) and I was 6lb (second born).. And my OH was a 6lb baby too (second born) and was the heaviest of all three of his siblings..

It could very well be something to do with that now u mention it.

I was 6.2 when born and so was my OH (wierd eh) and our first was born 6.1. Thats what we kept telling the MW's when they said I was small, but they didn't listen, they were convinced it was a health reason, but small babies run in both our families.

Even tho my daughter was 6.1 she's just turned 7 and is in age 8-9 in clothes and is the tallest in her class!

Maybe that's why then... Hmm.. The idea of getting a small baby out is looking appealing now I'm thinking it's not a health issue
