Advice needed. Please help

okay so, i highly doubt i have put this in the right folder sort of thing, but oh well.

i came off the pill that i had been takin for a year on/off last month. it has been exactly four weeks since i came off. and in that four weeks i have had unprotected sex around 10 times. could i be pregnant? i am due on today and for the last couple of days been having period symptoms but no period yet.

what do you girls think?
i already have a 1 year old son and im so worried atm.

Welcome to the forum.

If you are not using contraception and have had sex even once then yes of course you could be be pregnant - 10 times obviously increases the chance. The chances are higher depending on the timing. You may have ovulated or you might not. The only way to know is to test

well i wasnt sure if i could get pregnant because i had been on the pill and have just come off without having a proper period. infact i was like ''no theres no way'' but my friends have been like beth you can be pregnant.

what do you think the chances are?

I wouldnt like to guess but you only have to miss one pill to potentially fall pregnant.

sometimes it takes people up to a year to fall pregnant after coming off the pill, others can only miss it a day and fall preggers, its really up to how long your body takes to get the pill out your system.

i hope you get the result your wanting, all you can do is test x

Hey everyone thanks for all your replies.
i was due on on sunday, and still nothing.
But because i came off the pill 4 weeks ago im just thinkin oh maybe it just takes a while for periods to return, but because iv had unprotected sex in that 4 weeks a lot of times, im very worried.
what do you girls think are the chances of me being pregnant?

As I said before Beth - it's hard to say. You can get pregnant from having unprotected sex just once.

Yeah. im just sort of in denial because of me jus coming off the pill.
so i have my friend in my ear sayin oh your pregnant, then i have me in my head sayin no im not im just waiting for my periods after the pill.

Hi everyone, did two tests yesterday and they were both positive, one of them was a clearblue digital conception indicator, that one said 1-2 weeks. Im sorry for postin this thread on here i just wanted to post sumthin fast, because this is a totally unplanned pregnancy and im scared.
also my mum (who i live with) found this website thru web history and asked about it and i was like oh i did it for my friend.. and then she went mad coz she saw the ''trying to conceive'' bit and she thinks im tryin to get pregnant, which of course i did not, she also thinks tht my first son was planned which he wasnt, i know im stupid for havin unprotected sex, but a girl in my health and social care class said it takes upto 6 months for fertility to return after the pill, so i didnt think much of it.
iv only been seein my current bf for 5-6 weeks.
any advice will be appreciated!!

Not sure what to say hun. I think you should talk to your mum about what you are going to do given that you are living with her. The one thing you do need to learn from all this is that you really need to get more clued up on contraception and how it works. I think you should sit and talk to you GP or go to a family planning clinic. Taking advice from someone on a H&SC course about contraception is like letting a first aider perform open heart surgery on you....what do they really know.

Talk to your mum and go to see a Dr. Good luck.
