advice despo needed! baffling epu, confused!

Hi girls! just had a call from epu department. really confused and could do with advice or past experience if anyone has any. basicaly went in with pains a week ago, had scan n just saw empty sac and put me at 5 weeks even tho i thort i was more. then had 3 lots of beta hcg done and they went up each time considerably but didnt double so went in for a scan today and sac had only grown 1mm and still was empty at what they estimate was 6 weeeks howver nothing has been totally confirmed. they took anothe rblood sample but told me to expectr the worse, miscarriage.

anyway they have called me back and said they honestly dont know what is happening as my bloods have gone up to 2500 and they have sent my scans and all notes to a specialist doctor who will be calling me back at 5 to tell me next cause of action.

they have ruled out ectopic from bloods and were thinking it is just a faile pregnancy or nlighted ovum/ however the hcg in blood is going up more than what they would expect for this to be the case. and said they dont know. has anything like this happened to anyone good or bad?

i have already thought its over anyway after all the going in and negative remarks each time especially after today, expect miscarriage. so brutally honest is just fine. Dont wana get my hopes up, what a complicated mess! x

Isn't it a good thing that the level of hormone is going up? Perhaps they've dated you wrongly? Not really sure hun, sorry I'm no help. x x

thanx hun well i wudve thought it was a good thing but doubt it after everything else thats happpened 2 scans n still cant see anything! n wen i first went in i thort i was 7 weeks they thort about 5 going off size. doubt its less coz i missed a period on 30th jan and one on 26th feb but i dont know as wasnt mo nitoring cycles prior to this x
