Well I'm into my 2 week wait

We BD Tuesday and last night (Thursday). I got a strongish (slightly lighter then test line) OPK line on Wednesday and a lighter line yesterday.

So do you we caught the egg?

Well, I'm not an expert, but it sounds like you ov'ed either Wed eve or Thursday (assuming that the OPK gives you 12-24 hrs notice, and the surge had started before you tested on Wed, to give you the strong line).

So you BD'ed either O-1 and O+1, or O-2 and O. One way or another there's a chance, and if O-2 and O, a strong chance that the timing was good.

What do you reckon?



I'm also in the 2ww - 4 dpo, and it's dragging already And I'm getting the 2nd cold in 4 weeks Feeling very sorry for myself!

I think it's a lot easier for DHs in many ways - they do their stuff then it's not up to them any more. My DH says he doesn't want to think about it till he sees a positive, and that I should try not to think about it either - but it's so hard not to. There are so many tiny decisions and sacrifices that you make every day 'just in case' - from not having a glass of wine with your friends to drinking peppermint tea when you really really want a double latte to putting up with a headache or cramps because you don't want to take ibuprofen - that you think about it every 10 mins regardless of how long you've been trying and how much you want it. And thinking obviously leads to hoping, which leads to disappointment when it doesn't work out that time.

Sorry, I'm going on a bit today, I think the combination of an oncoming cold, the depressing weather and the knowledge that there's nothing more I can do for the time being has really got to me! I'm going to cheer myself up with some chocolate - the caffeine in that isn't high enough to count Want a virtual piece?!

My Dh has stopped drinking in the week and is losing weight. he is very supportive, i know i am very lucky.

Hi everyone,

I'm on day 30 of 31 or 32 (probably 32 this month as ov test was pos later). Must admit, have been a nightmare this month and still am having confusing symptoms!!! I can't stand that 2ww - I feel every little twinge - things, I'm sure I never notice usually.

Good luck to all you 2w waiters!!! It's agony!! If there's anything that will take your mind off it do it!!!! (easier said than done!!!)

I have been nagging my DP about alcohol too, and feeding him up on brazil nuts and zinc tablets. He has been very good and has cut the alcohol back quite a bit but he gets really cross when I mention it!!!

I hate symptom spotting. I was sitting watching telly the other night and I swear I had metalic taste in my mouth and my boobs are sore which is unusual as they get sore a week before AF, and I thought stupid, you are probably 1/2 a day past OV if even that! Silly me!

Well, DH is happy to eat brazil nuts and take his Vit C & zinc supplements, but he wouldn't give up alcohol - I'm amazed you've convinced your DHs! He doesn't drink excessively anyway - I guess that since last Friday he's probably had a total of 2 beers and 4 glasses of wine - so I'm not going to make a fuss about it. We've agreed that if we get to 6m TTC with no luck, then we'll take a close look at what more we can do to improve our chances.
