Ok.. so i think ive accidentally messed up my bbt timings.. :(
Basically i have had times where ive woken 6am took temp gone back sleep. But ive also done temps where ive woken 6am tossed and turned a little but then took temp.. one day i took 6am got 97.94of and tossed turned slept more (not got outta bed tho) and took temp when woke up later and got 98.40!! Big jump!
How can i even make sure i accurately temp?

And , think someone tricking me but.. is it true eating loads means youll get a boy?!

Everything I've read about BBT is to try and do it at roughly the same time every morning (I do mine between 6-7am) and to do it as soon as u wake(with at least 3hours of sleep). Sometimes il wake up at 4am for the toilet so when my alarm goes off at 6am for work and I take my temp it's not really 100% accurate as I've only been back to sleep for 2 hours but I still use it.
Never heard that about the eating thing!

I do the same aim for between 6 and 7am as I work shifts but hubby doesn't so usually wakes me up to say goodbye around this time so I do it then before I dose back off if I'm working lates.

I also make sure I do it before any cuddling. Hubby is a hot sleeper and one morning I had just had a 5 minutes cuddle and then did temp and was sky high from his body heat I think lol.

I think you will always get little fluctuations as look at the overall pattern looks right don't stress too much x

I've heard that apparantly the more calories you eat around ov means you'll conceive a boy- but seems really silly! Who knows though, the body is strange! I have two boys and wouldn't say I eat loads! Xx

Sorry, I'm a scientist and sceptic... Sex of baby is entirely determined by the chromosomes in whichever sperm wins the race to the egg - would seriously doubt a woman's calorie intake would have any bearing on this in the slightest.
