She is breast fed, we're doing BLW (so she isn't taking much food at all - although I know she'll be ingesting some). She is still having normal amount of boob though!

She seems happy enough, is sleeping as much as usual and doesn't seem in any pain.

Going to try to massage / warm bath and grab some bits that might help [pears and maybe some prune puree - yuck!!]

I really don't want to go to the GP as I am there literally every week at the moment.

It might be worth adding baby has been suffering mild reactions to some milk products (Greek yogurt / cheese and oddly baby porridge - which has a lot of ingredients "from milk") and we've seen the GP already this week re: this.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Crack on with the pear and prune - are you offering water with her BLW?

If your seeing reactions to diary, tail off alittle and avoid where possible as she's 7 months - re try in a months time see if you get another reaction.

Baby porridge reaction isn't odd esp if EBF :) she's not used to cows milk etx

Thanks hun.

She must have done one literally as I was typing this... so phew.

I was getting worried as all I read online is that it's rare for ebf babies to get constipated? Although I also read that constipation could be down to her cows milk issue.

We're doing a food diary and I've been advised to systematically try different types of dairy. I tried some petit filous and her reaction was barely noticeable but with Greek yogurt she flares up terribly (GY is pure cows milk and PF of course has additives and sweetners etc)

Weight gain hasn't been great - baby was only 14lb 3oz a few weeks ago and has slipped from almost 50th to 9th centile. So if she hasn't had a good gain next week GP is happy to refer us to allergy clinic even though she doesn't think it's an actual cows milk allergy.

It's all a bit of a minefield and I'm quite confused but glad little miss has finally given me a poop. It's amazing what makes you happy as a mummy lol.

Just waiting for my 17 month olds dietician referral - had a rough ride with cows milk!
