6 week scan gestational sac only

Hi

I recently went for a 6 week internal scan , the tech was able to see a gestational sac but no yolk or fetal pole ? i have to go back in seven days to get another scan were i should be 7 weeks has this happend to anyone else and everything has been ok ?

I am worried sick and waiting 7 days is not helping

Hi lovely yes similar has happened to me previously. I think I wasn't quite matching my dates I was a little bit behind where I thought I was. When I went back there was yolk foetal pole, and they had me back again and they seen a heartbeat. I had early scans with this pregnancy too but was just so early they didn't even see a sac at first. Are you sure on your dates? Xx

The waiting is a killer try and keep busy I know it's incredibly difficult xxx

My last period was on August 10th but that was my first period since i stopped BC. The tech said the gestational sac measured at 6+1 which works out correct with my LMP. Im just so scared and i dont want to get my hopes up.

Both of mine have been slow showers x
