6 hours later After telling everyone we lost baby

We told every one yesterday right after the 13w 3d scan but 6 hours later a was rushing my partner to hospital for bad cramps gave her 10mg of morphine 3 more then they do to women who are in labour but it was only temporary relief for her the doctor came in done a internal scan and every thing came out inc are baby BOY we cryed we talked it over with each other and fine these things happenin she was kept in all night and most of today but they never told us how long the cramping will last or the bleeding or when it's it safe to start trying will we have to wait until her bits shrink to normal size and it took us 6 months to get pregtant will it be easier 2nd time around ?

Im sorry for your loss! I think the body recovers within a couple of days and theb you can start again when yous both feel ready! Some people take longer to come to terms with the loss and grieve! Doctor s all have different views on when to try again its best to wait until after the first period to date the baby and so that you can get your hcg levels back to normal so when you test you know its a new pregnancy. . I think tge doctor says it takes anything up to 6 weeks for your period to return and the bleeding from the mc shouldnt last much longer than 2 weeks Goodluck x

She's stop bleeding now it's 2 days to short to try again ?

Hi. First of all I'm so sorry for your loss. Secondly they recommend you wait 2 weeks after bleeding stops to try again as before the cervix may still be open and you could be open to infection. It may take a little longer for cycles to return to normal it varies quite a lot. Hope this helps and best of luck xx

Hi so sorry for your loss, I loss my baby 2 weeks ago. I was just over 21 weeks so I know your pain and I also know the feeling of wanting to try again soon after. We were told to wait 6 weeks or first cycle but I asked what if I fell preg before then and she said absolutely nothing that I would be just fine. I was also told it depends on how the baby came out (delivered medically or surgically removed). Since I delivered medically we waited 5 days till we started trying again, if it was surgically we would have waited longer only because the surgical instruments can cause an infection. I did wait until my bleeding had about stopped and I felt the urge to want to. I'd see if she's not just physically ready by emotionally. Only she will really know, as I said I knew and felt ready.

A domt Anna start a other thread but how long does it take for tests to start showing neg again we just done one and it came up positive after 5 days but we where 13weeks

I'm so sorry for your loss, this hasn't happened to me personally but my best friend, she had a miscarriage last July, was pregnant late August September again and now has a son who is gorgeous. She found she was very fertile after loss.

They do say wait until bleeding has stopped though due to infection.

I tested exactly one week after my loss and the test was negative, but everyone is different. Keep testing until you get a negative so you know for sure.

So so sorry to hear your loss. It's such early days,,you must be numb.
I lost a baby at 24weeks and then 18months later I went on to have a bubba boy at 34wks!
He's now 6.

So sorry hun, when i had my MC in march it took a couple of weeks for the bleeding to fully stop, and we were told it's best to wait until my next period to start ttc again, so it's been about 4-5 months of trying and i'm pregnant again
