5 Days of positive OPK's??????

I am currently on CD16 and been testing since CD11, i usually get 2 days of positive OV tests and count ovulation as the 3rd day....however this month I have had 5 DAYS SO FAR??? I am VERY confused!

First positive was Thurs, then Fri (both times the line was same colour) had a what looked like a negative Sat afternoon (test line was a fraction lighter than control line) then got a positive in the evening which was the darkest one yet, then another strong positive on Sunday afternoon with a lighter one Sunday evening (might have been negative)
Thought I would just check again today to see and it's positive again!

I dont know what the heck is going on?? getting quite frustrated now! I'm definetely NOT pregnant as I only DTD last Wednesday and again Sat eve just gone. I have read that sometimes ov doesn't work so your body tries again?

Anyone ever experienced this?

Hows your CM been?

I dont normally get strong but this cycle ive had 2 positive days and the third day is only just lighter than the control line!!

I suspect I OV today due to 28 d cycle and pains Ive had yesterday. My CM has been comprimised as I have thrush

Its suppoesed to be EWCM for a few days before then you dry up once you OV. if your dry Id assume youv ovd and your body just has some left over LH in there triggering the tests..

I dont really get any EWCM (well not overly noticable anyway) so cant really go by that . I dont temp either. Darkest lines were Sat eve and Sunday afternoon so who knows what is going on.....

Yeah, that happened to me when I was in America this summer, body kept trying to ov and ended up with a 47 day cycle. Was so glad when it was over! X

Oh god really hope that doesn't happen!!! Positive again today *sigh* not sure whether to carry on testing or just stop for a couple of days.....

I think long surges are quite common - sometimes after ovulation there is still a lot of LH in your system. The surge has has a start, a peak and an end... and during each of these phases you can get a positive OPK. I would keep DTD'ing as long as you have a positive OPK. And I agree that the other option is that your body is struggling to OV for some reason (or even OV'ing multiple times). Really difficult to say. Can't recommend temping enough - it really is the best way to determine when you have OV'd. Good luck & lots of baby dust!

Finally got a negative today, couldn't even see a second line, which then made me think is this right....lol! Who knows, hopefully its a one off, I dont like it when things happen out of the 'norm'.
Tried temping once but was terrible with it, kept forgetting to do it and would get out of bed go to the loo etc, might try give it another go maybe!

You should temp as its the only way of knowing when you've ovulated xx
