I know what you mean and kinda felt the same until I got one for free and then saw my baby - how could I possibly find seeing my own child for the first time creepy?! It was facinating really but I do understand where you are coming from.

I'm with you Lulu - I wouldn't say creepy but they just look like they are made of clay to me and I wouldn't bother to spend out the money on one xx

Yes! I really thought we'd never have one as I hated them & turned my nose up if i saw one in horror! Lol.
Then we had a 2D sexing scan & they did a 4D for free it was awesome, its totally different when they are your own x

We opted not to have one because I find them extremely weird! My OH wanted one until I showed him some pics off a couple of sites that do them and he agreed.

I feel the same! Not creeped out but just never been a fan of how they look. Danni in Tri 3 has had one and hers are GORGE! u can see her little boys features so well! Even if I cud have a free one I wouldn't have one tho. I'd rather keep it as a surprise what he looks like xx

our 4d scan was the best thing ever- I cant beleive its actually all going on in ur tummy. The scan itselfe was brill and i would go back again im not keen on the photos tbh but its a keepsake and will go in my sons scrapbook. Each to their own i guess x

I have had one and they still freak me out a little.

Don't get me wrong...they are amazing....but to know they can see all that and her to still be inside my tummy is something I can't get my head around!

Christ...they could not even tell you the sex of a baby when I was pregnant with my son - now look what they can do!! xx

hehe, they are a bit weird, although I don't find them creepy. My friend Kev thinks they look like plastecine babies I wouldn't have managed to get one if it wasn't for friends chipping in and giving me that as a gift. My main reason was to find out the sex because they don't tell you at my hospital

I think another reason I wouldn't want one is because we are finding out the sex, it's nice to leave something as a surprise, like what the baby looks like!
