We don't like them either. I feel like i'd be invading his space a bit too much! I'm just gonna leave him be until he comes out nice and pink rather than looking like his skin is falling off! lol x

Ah, I haven't had one but would love one if they were going for free!!! I don't think it looks like the baby's skin is falling off though, that's not a nice image. I think they're gorgeous and when you compare the photos with what baby looks like when he/she is born it's uncanny!!!

I had a free one with my 3rd as a treat becaust because i had to have weekly scans as my waters broke at 22 weeks. and me and hte doctor found it funny think it was cause he was so big well he wasn't big but it was 33 weeks when i had it so alot didnlt fit on the screen and it just looked like loads of clouds and me and the doctor were making patterns out of the clouds. I dont know wether it was my frame of mind at the time as i had been in hospital for 11 weeks by then and probably going mad, but i just found i could see more on the usual scan, but probably couldn't at that one anyway. My friend had one and her little girls nose looked so big she made that comment and i agreed with her cause it did and she is born now and has the tiniest little nose, so i think it scared her a bit not cause it freaked her out just cause it was a abit misreading if you know what i mean. I have not paid for one only because of my experience with 3rd.

I agree & havent even had a 3d/4d scan yet. Each to their own and all that. But its a baby were talking about & I think some peopleseem to have forgotten that!

Agree girls,think maybe u need to have one to understand how amazing it
all is- Every1 is so happy after their 20 week scans and these ones to me anyway are even better (whats better than seeing ur child moving and yawning and in my case being a toad and turning away lol) x

Ultimately the majority of this thread is basically saying my 4d scan pic and other girls 4d scan pic looks creepy.......one person even went as far as suggesting it looks like babys skin is falling off. Now imho there are things you don't say on a public forum. No one (I hope) would ever comment on a pic of a baby when they arrive saying baby looks creepy etc what's the difference really? Talk about it in private but it IS really offensive tbh.

I loved my 4d scan, it was amazing to see what they get up to in there

And yes I agree with that there are some insensitive comments. These pictures are of babies, not aliens or anything else. My daughter looked beautiful in her scan, and was born looking identical to it. It also helped me bond with her.

Best £99 I've ever spent.

That's fair enough and a very valid point. But words like alien, creepy and the description of babys skin falling off is uncalled for. Think about it from the point of view of those who have had 4d scans. I'm not being nasty, I'm just being honest.

I will say the pic I had done at 25 weeks is exactly the same as what my LO looked like at 27 weeks when she was born, so the comments regarding babys looks dont sit right with me. :/
It was the best money we spent, and because of DD's early arrival, we had one this time at 24+2. Definatley love them now (the photos!)

Do you have any pic of your 4D scans?... i am going for one on saturday, i will be 26+1 and my so called friend was saying my pics will be shite and i am stupid for getting one so early...were yours good? xxx

yep I'm sure that no one meant to intentionally offend me or anyone else but I think its important to think about how what you say might effect other people. Especially on a public pregnancy forum. I also know I'm not the only one who was offended.

It really depends more on the fat and babys weight, not as much gestation. We found the 25 week one with DD clearer than the 24+2 with this pregnancy though - yours should be awesome

Wow your one is really clear, love it!!!! I don't think mine is as clear. Although the DVD especially nearer the end is excellent I took some screen shots off the DVD because I only got 2 A4 pics with the package I had.
