4D Scans

I can't wait to have one, couldn't have one with the twins, was told it would look like a muddle of arms and legs - too confusing lol. If I get pregnant with s singleton this time, I will deffo have one. Gorgeous pics girls btw xx

I'm getting an extra scan at 38 weeks as I've signed up to a research about endo sufferers in pregnancy so I'm not bothered having one . I do think they can be very sweet though as long as you dont have them too early , too get a better idea of what baby will look like when they are nice and chubby

We had a 15 min appt with dvd and cd of pictures plus gender for £55 - the staff were amazing at the clinic and they made the experience so special.

We are actually going back again for another 15 min appt on 30th March as a treat from OH's parents (they are coming back down again to come with us)

I will see if I can pull one of the 4d photos from our first scan from facebook to post but if not will post one when I get home

I love the 4d scans, although I found alot of my friends pictures didnt really look like baby when they were born so didnt spoil the surprise. I has one last week when I was either 29 weeks or 31 weeks and it was amazing. My doctor told me Id left it too late but we got some gorgeuos piccies and as dvd and you could see his little finger toes nose and we made sure he was definately a boy Well worth it if you can afford it I think.

Beth I was advised to have the 4d at 30 weeks to get the best pics hun! I could not wait that long tho lol So we just booked a gender scan with 4d preview but the lovely lady did most of the scan in 4d for us lol

Thats the reason OH's parents books us another scan for the 30th March - when I will be 30 weeks.

Can't wait to compare the 25 weeks pics to the 30 weeks!

I've never paid much thought to 4D scans, mainly because before I got my BFP, I wouldn't think that far ahead cos it seemed unbelievable that I'd have a positive test with my lengthy cycles. Anyhoo, now I can say we're pregnant, it's so exciting to read what happens further along in Tri 2 and 3 cos I can't wait to be there myself. Seeing the pics, I think it'd be an amazing experience that I'm sure myself and hubby would love to have, especially as this is our first baby.

This is our one from last week, at nearly 31 weeks, so at the top end of the time limit in which it could be done..

Was fab though, and can tell she has my OH'S big lips, lol!

I researched it and read the best time is 28 weekish so we went when we thought i was 29 weeks.. ans she said the best time is about 23 weeks.. cant win guessing everyone just has different opinions but it was fab neverless and i was actually 31 odd weeks so obviously not to late enjoy yours at the end of march Im so happy I got one as took me ages to decide whether too x

Yeah on the clinics website it said between 24 and 32 weeks. When I called Yi she said they recommended 26 weeks so that's when I had it done. But my friend had both hers done at 30 weeks and they're a lot clearer than mine. But baby gagas one was just over 26 weeks and its really clear. Must just depend on the individual baby.

mine was done at 24 weeks and mine is clear but pics arnt as good as those who were further on..pinky u right it just depends i think x
