Hi, i am new to this forum and was after some advice.
I am a week late, and over the last couple of days i have had 4 faint line positives, so i did a digital one yesterday evening to be sure and it showed a negative. I was really disappointed and now i dont know what to do?!

Hello there and welcome!

Don't be too disheartened as 4 pink lines definitely sounds like a winner! I'm no expert but girls on here have said that the CB digital ones aren't always that sensitive so it may be a little too early to pick it up with that particular test.

I see you did the digital in the evening too...the negative could also be because your hcg levels will be lower at this time as you've been drinking fluids and weeing all day! Ha ha!
Wait a couple of days then try a CBD with fresh morning urine (FMU)

Good Luck and lots of baby :dust: to you!

Lucia xx

Many thanks for your support - I do hope so, fingers crossed!

CBD doesn't work for anything, i would head to your doctors and get them to confirm it for you. Best of luck and i really hope that this is your BFP :) xx

Thanks monkei, you read my mind i have just booked a doctors appointment for tuesday...i might have to do a few more tests before..ha!

Hi Debrina,

Hope you are ok?

Different pregnancy tests are different sensitivities-

Apparently, if a woman is pregnant, the amount of hCG in her system should be around 25 mIU at 10 dpo (days past ovulation), 50 mIU at 12 dpo, 100 mIU at around two weeks dpo.

On average a woman's HCG levels double every 30 hours. Non-pregnant women have HCG levels of 5.

-First response early tests (up to 6 days before AF) 12.5 mIU

-Boots own pregnancy tests 25 mIU

-Clearblue 25 mIU

-Hospital non-branded HCG tests 100 mIU

Why don't you buy a cheap one as the are usually the least sensitive and then if you get a positive it will be more accurate.

Also remember some women don't produce enough hCG until 3 weeks after their period is due so don't give up hope yet.

Good Luck x

maybe baby that guide of the different tests is very helpful, ive been wondering what levels of hcg they each are thanks xx

Unfortunately the witch came to visit me at the weekend - so some how it was a false alarm! Thanks for your advice try again next month! xx
