how have soooooo many of you ladies managed to exscape the stretchers?????? your bellys are totally clear of them? i have been smothering myself in plamers and im convinced i'm gonna get them ( i did whilst i was growing as a teen)...whats your secrets????

hehe, i think its down to genetics. My mum and sister gots loads with their kids... so i knew i was doomed! No matter how much bio oil and palmers butter iv put on they still keep appearing!

"babybee" i love your bump!! I also cant wait to do a from start to finish bump thing! It's amazing how much they grow! And somehow even stretchmarks look beautiful when they're on bumps.

Sarah i just pray to god if my bump ever gets as big as yours it manages to stay stretchmark free! Very jealous as that no small bump!

My friends mum said "oh are you having a girl" when i saw her and said she could tell cos of how i was carrying, so maybe you can, but tbh i dont think its very accurate, she just got lucky

there is an old lady at the home where i work that is like that

she has told 4 members of staff what they are having and has been right, she said its because of how they were carrying, she said i was having a girl so we will see

my mum reckons that if you carry one way for a girl then you'll know the next time if its a boy as itl be different - as in its different from individual to individual but one person will carry differently with a boy than they would with a girl...

my mum had reckoned a boy all the way, then the day of my 20 week scan she looked at my bump and said 'it's a girl' lol.

I have to say I dont miss mine at all, he is sitting in his pram gazing at me with his hair in a mohawk ...I prefer it that way LOL!! Also beware the smooth bumps and no stretchers, mine was perfectly smooth with no stretch marks...until I had given brth and where my tummy rapidly deflated they appeared they arent too bad though, just lots of silvery ones!

i heard about these stretch marks appearing after birth too, i like to shove my fingers in my ears and shout LA LA LA!!! I dont wanna think about it! If i think now i'll worry, ifthey appear when shes here i doubt i'll care, cos she'll be here lol
