3D/4D scans

Hi,

I am 13 weeks pregnant and the hospital I am with has a "no tell" policy on the baby's sex.

I already have a son and a daughter, both of who were surprises but I think I may want to find out this time.

The only option would be a private scan at a cost of about £200.

Anyone had such a scan? Glad you found out? Wish you hadn't?
Was a 3/4D scan worth the expense?

Would love to hear your stories.

I had a private scan the other day and it was only £65 and i got pics but if it was after 20 weeks the sex scans are free??

Hi,

The problem could indeed be where I live.
I'm in Northern Ireland and the options are definitely limited.

The cost wouldn't be a problem if I was sure I wanted to know!!
I'm afraid of being sorry I found out....

It's our only surprise after all...

Will check out Inner vision but prob a mainland only company.

no probs. I know that there are a lot of them out there but that is mainland UK so Im not much help to you Im afraid.

Yeah i guess its whether you want to know or not. I definitely did as I have a boy and this pregnancy was such a huge shock that I wanted to find out asap to help make it all seem more real iykwim.
