Hi girls im currently 36wks+2days You might remember me from 2 week ago saying my iron levels had dropped. The midwife did a repeat bloods and this time she said there has been a drop in my platelets. I didnt know what this was so she explained, its basically cells in the blood that clot ur blood if you were to have a bleed. So now thats got me pretty worried since i had a post partum hemmorhage last time. Has anyone else had low platelets? Or a drop in platelets? She said there isnt anything i can take for it but its on my notes in big red letters that they must check my platelets when i do go in.
Also my baby which has been head down since the beginning is now fully engaged. I wasnt expecting it because this is my 3rd baby and i heard 2nd, 3rd + dont engage till labour? Now im thinking is baby coming any time. What are your experiences on this? Thanks
