I told the consultant that I didn’t always get a positive OPK and my progesterone test last year was only borderline. Also on scans my lining looked quite thin. So they concluded that I might not be ovulating properly and thought clomid would help. So it was ‘unexplained’ but with a possibility of low progesterone. He only wants me to have 3 months worth of clomid (I've done 2 so far), then 1 or 2 goes of IUI, then straight to IVF because of my age. I’d rather try for longer on clomid because it seems to be working in terms of ovulation and lining but the consultant says IVF will give us a better chance because time is running out! I’m not really there yet in my mind though! Any suggestions?!
