16 week appointment

I have my 16 week midwife appointment next week, can anyone tell me what to expect? As im really nervous for some reason.

hey! dont be nervous, its all ok. my midwife is a cow bag but im sure yours is ok! basically mine went pee sample, blood pressure, doppler for heartbeat! and then i was sent on my way! one thing i do regret is i didnt ask any questions. and left kicking myself as i did have a few! xx

Mine was the same as Lexi's , enjoy your appointment, lovely to hear the heartbeat if they do it in your area then

i have a fabby midwife love her loads i get a weekly phone call on a Fri to ask how im feeling about my appointment for the scan coming on the monday and then she tests me on the monday and I see her every wed, my top tip is ask any questions you may have but dont be nervous xx

Well I had everything but listening to the heartbeat, quite disappointing really.

I also had my 16 week appointment this week, and didn't get to hear the heartbeat either

Not to worry, not long until our 20 weeks scans!
