Congratulations hun. Working out the dates is so confusing but sounds like 4 weeks is about right scan will confirm more! Bet your so excited lol i did so many tests must be so exciting if you have been TCC aswell. xxx

I've been planning how I'm gunna tell my mum, quite like the idea of getting a grandma and grandad card. Writing something like 'can't wait to meet you' and putting the scan pic inside and signing it 'baby-jonesy' with my EDD underneath

That's a lovely way of telling them - I just blurted it out to my parents!

You got your midwife appointment quick, I have to wait till 14th March to see mine I'm wishing away the days till then - and buying loads of books. I've bought four this last week already!

I rang the midwife as soon as I got it confirmed by the docs, and she offered me the appointment before asking how far I thought I was. I'm from rochdale but I've heard people say it depends which area your in.
It was my partners idea not to tell anyone-he wants to wait til I"m 12 weeks but I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut. RB1-Your due dates about 4 days before what I think mine is.

That's what I did to tell both sets of parents. I got them Christmas Cards that said "To a Special Granny and Grandad" and wrote inside 'love from Bump (8 weeks)'. They loved it!!

When are you going to tell them? If you can wait til the end of the month you can get them an Easter Card, or if it's just your mum you're telling, get her a Mother's Day card from bump xx
