So after my hcg levels rising I've now found out from yesterday's blood test that they have dropped to 475 :'( I'm gutted. Got to go back tomorrow but I've miscarried :'( xx

Hey, well they have said that in no viable pregnancy should the hcg levels drop. I'm going back tomorrow for another blood test. The 4th now! And I hate them lol but it has to be done. I'm still bleeding as well. So there really is no hope now I'm just hoping now that it all happens quickly and naturally so I can get back to trying. Really gutted but nothing I can do il let you know on Wednesday what the results are but I've heard that in most cases the hcg has gone 2 days after a miscarriage starts. So I'm expecting them to be low or gone. I started bleeding on Saturday with pains so it will be 3 days tomorrow. Thanks for all your help girls xx

I'm okay thanks. I went for more bloods today. The nurse basically said there is no hope for this pregnancy now And If my levels have dropped (I find out tomorrow) then they will leave me a week then do more bloods. I still haven't had a heavy bleed and the light pink spotting stopped last night. However if my levels have risen then they will need to do more bloods and a scan to check its not ectopic. I know it sounds awful but out of the two options I would rather it be a miscarriage as ectopics are worse. Obviously I would rather be pregnant, but a miscarriage now would be the quickest and easiest thing. I won't be taking anything or rushed into any action without a scan though just in case. Xx

I had 2 solid smiley faces 3 days apart, well weird as I had ovulation pains 12 hours after the first smiley face and a temp dip.
I also had ovulation pains, felt really crappy and sick 3 days later. So I did a OPK and got another solid smiley face. But FF reckons I ovulated first time on CD 11 as my temp has been higher past 3 days. Can you ovulate twice in one cycle ??

I think I read somewhere that you can. Some people get pregnant just after their period or just before. Anything is possible. What happened with the pregnancy test? Was it an evap or bfp? Have you tested again? If not it sounds positive anyway if you have ovulated twice In this month! Things might happen faster lol xx

I totally understand. I fear an ectopic way more than a MC even though both are awful. On very rare occasions levels drop and then raise when there were twins and one dies.

i'm so sorry hun! it's so hard! hope this happens fast and you get your bpf again next month I got pregant straight away the month after a mc he is 10 months today =)

Thanks ladies. I've just done another test. I haven't done one since before the weekend. Obviously I still have hcg in my system because it's a bfp and actually quite dark. darker then expected. I'm quite worried its ectopic now.. Wishing I hadn't done one lol Bunnyn I've heard that but it seems quite rare so I don't want to get my hopes up too much. Thank you though xxx

I felt bad even saying because didnt want to give false hope but thought it might be worth mentioning because if levels go up ectopic isnt the ONLY reason. Your last blood test was 475 so even if they have dropped a lot you could still be getting a fairly dark line they say FRER can give you a line with as little as 6.5.

I've just found out they are 398.

Nurse said it doesn't mean it's not ectopic. But they are making me wait a week before more bloods. I hate this! I just want it over now so I can move on. How am I meant to wait a week!

I've got to go back if I get SEVERE pain in her words.. But surely at that point it would be too late to stop the ectopic and save a Fallopian tube?

I'm really nervous now xx

Sorry its all so unsure still. Are you getting a scan? It sounds like they think it is still to early to detect an ectopic pregnancy. I have a friend who lost her tube but she didnt realise she was pregnant and was much further along.

No they wanted me to wait a week then go back for further bloods. I called them back up as I wasn't happy to do this. So I have to go back for more bloods tomorrow. I would rather do this to be honest. I know it won't suit everyone. I know it sounds absolutely horrible but I am so fed up now. I literally can't wait to have the miscarriage/bleeding and my levels go back to 0. I never thought I would say that lol I just want a healthy pregnancy and gorgeous little one again. So very strangely here's hoping it's all over soon! But I've heard that some women take weeks/months before their levels drop fully xxx

I really feel for you.

Do you have a private hospital near you? We have one and they charge £120.00 for a scan. Is there any way you can go and see what they say. NHS are fab but in these circumstances I would be trying to get a private scan.
