Getting bab to sleep without breast!

he might whinge a little bit, but usually he just goes to sleep - he won't stay still in my arms, or anywhere else for that matter LOL. he weighs just over 20lbs now and doesn't feel like any weight to carry at all, particularly on my back. :D

Getting bab to sleep without breast!

connor feeds to sleep - which is fine for me, but a bit difficult when someone else is looking after him. the latter doesn't happen very often so its not something i feel the need to address particularly. but the one thing that does always work for me, or anyone else, is slinging him. during...

i don't know if you do this already, but feed him in bed whilst lying on your side? that way you can doze (or even sleep) your way through it. i swear its the only way i stayed sane :)

only feeds for 6 mins at a time on and off

not sure how much he'll be getting quantity-wise, but if he's feeding on demand, he'll be getting enough. babies know what they need :) :)

only feeds for 6 mins at a time on and off

it just sounds like he's extremely efficient these days :) connor doesn't feed for too long now - only his bedtime feed is lengthy. he snacks on and off during the day instead.

breast to bottle - help having trouble and tears

i had similar problems with connor when he was teeny - i had pethidine during labour and he was extremely sleepy for the first 48 hours after birth and wouldn't latch. he never got the hang of latching properly and by the time he was a month old he looked like a famine victim. i'd been giving...

Desperately need some help :(UPDATE 3 page 4 OMG!!!!

You obviously need some help hon, but I think CC is cruel. I'm with Beanie - The No Cry Sleep Solution is a lovely book. There are some really good gentle techniques that should help you and James.  Can Alan do bedtimes and give you a break?

    Make it stop!

connor went through a phase of it too - its awful....  i bought him some bikkiepegs and attached them to his jumper in the hope that he'd chomp on them instead - it sort of worked. i think he did it for about 2/3 weeks and thankfully hasn't done it since.
