Ok now im looking thorugh the birth stories and when i see the pictures of babies in hospital i can actually smell the hospital, i get an odd feeling as if i were there again and i get a tingle down my spine.
I then get flash backs of when i was there and can taste the gas and air, its really weird and i sort of like it much then it makes me really nervous and i get butterflies.
Am i the only nutter here or do any of you mums feel similar things?

I constantly get flashbacks! I'm still piecing back together the events of that day. I wasn't on the forum when i had the baby so i didn't write a birth story. Shame really as it would be the best way to remember it.
I can remember the feeling of gas and air, the whole 2 contractions of it! And i remember half of what jibberish i came out with. OH occasionally reminds me too! And the very undignified events! I was only in labour 3.5 hours, and 2 of those were at hospital, but i still get the cringes!
I still remember the smell of the hospital, and the fear of spending the night there, even though that was my choice!
Every birth story i read reminds me of that day. Miss it though

OMG im not the only one!!!!! everytime i see a newborn baby or go past the birthing centre i can smell the unmistakable smell of a hospital. its odd but i have had that since i had my 1st baby hes 4 in november!

I can always smelll brand new baby and remember how hot they were - that warm meaty wet smell lol

gosh no i dont get that! but i didnt have a hospital birth and if my home has a smell then i dont notice it coz i live there lol
