Hi all,

Congratulations. I got my BFP on 24th August but had no idea how far I was. Had a private scan yesterday and found out I am 9 weeks exactly and due on 16th April. Hope everyone is well,

I got my BFP on the 24th August after a tube removal on the 29th July .. I'll be due around May 8th if eggy sticks .. I've already had a scan and eggie is in my womb (THANK GOD) .. but I've had brown spotting on and off, so I'm having blood tests to monitor levels (Another on Monday) and then another scan in a couple weeks.

Wow what a result! I bet you are so pleased after everything you have been through! Congratulations - I will add you to the ever increasing list x

ahh I love this - thanks for adding my name in. Have got my scan on 11 October which seems like ages away, but luckily hubby has managed to get day off to come with me (he works 250 miles away so we only see each other a couple of weekends a month). Have first midwife appt on 27 Sept - she comes to the house which is all very different to how it was in the olden days! Have to say I was a bit cross when I got her letter - it said appt 27.9.10 pm and that was it! No time slot or anything, then it had all this waffle about your employer having to let you have time off for appts...all very well if you have told them, which I haven't. And even if I had I don't think taking a whole afternoon off is reasonable do you?

Anyway pinned her down to an actual time so stress over....wonder how the midwife stuff works in other areas?

I love seeing everyone on the list together! Will add your scan date in - that's fab that your hubby can come too. I've heard others say that they only got a morning or afternoon slot for MW but as you say that's not very helpful when work don't know. I have my first MW on Wednesday morning and told work I would work from home (I'm self employed) as I have a "delivery" but now I have a case starting tomorrow (I'm a barrister) which might well go into Wednesday so I may have to rearrange! V annoying x

I cannot believe there are 28 of us!!! That is a whole school class that we are brewing between us. Any more scan dates to add in ladies? Can't wait for the start of the scan's - I'm sure that will get us each to our own date even quicker!! x
