I know loads have takeaway but I never do so I'm quick meal ideas :)

What does everyone have? xxx

Every year we got to my Auntie and Uncles (who's a butcher) for hot pork sandwiches :) Yum! x

My mum always does a spread of salad and cold meats and stuff. Something light so there's plenty of space for all that turkey and bread sauce the next day! Nom, nom, nom.... xx

We always go out for a relaxing meal on Xmas eve. Xx

All good ideas, love the idea of warm rolls :)

J I am good :) I'll start a gr thread to say hello :yay: xxx

Steak in french stick for us (a tradition from when I lived at my parents!)

We also crack open the Bailey's - probably 2nd bottle as the first is long gone by Cirmbo eve!

OH normally pop's out for a few pints and I stick my PJ's on as soon as it gets dark.

Can't believe this year we are going to have a baby here, it blows my mind everytime I think of it

xxxxxxxx

We either have a spread or a takeaway normally but im loving the hot pork idea may have to change this year aslong as apple sauce is with them :) x x

I like quick/easy/nibbly type food for xmas eve. Its always chaos in my house.

I quite fancy a french baguette this year (thanks carnat) & pizza, garlic bread, stuff like that.

And of course santa might need a hand to drink his beer & eat his mince pie

:oooo:

We normally alternate whos parents we stay with.
My parents do a slow cooked ham joint so we can nibble at chunks of ham and pinapple etc.

Inlaws normally have a spread of nuts and sweets and things.

This year staying at home due to how close to popping I'll be so thinking of booking a pub meal instead and getting a few nibbles in.

We usually gave pork or beef then always gammon for boxing day

Really want baguettes now! Sounds good! Few other snack things
