Wow!

So on Monday I posted the form to my hospital to register for my first scan.

Got home today to the appointment letter!!

August 14th.

Can't believe it!

And I'm so relieved as I'm going away on the 17th with friends and was worried about not drinking/asking them to carry my case up stairs etc.

So now I can tell them!!!!

Also - huge relief - I don't need a full bladder for it!!!

I went to the hospital (I had a fertility clinic appointment) on the Friday where they confirmed my pregnancy, I had my Scan letter for my early scan the next morning, I was amazed. Waiting for my scan for my 12ish week scan was a different matter though, it eventually took my OB to prod them for it to arrive. I'm not telling many people until after this scan, I'm worried that something may be wrong and I want to get in to second trimester safely before letting it become general knowledge!

Yeah I was expecting having to wait for weeks for the 12ish (I'll be 11+4) scan. Why I was so surprised! Lol.

I've got to wait until (by my dates) I am 13 and half weeks, I expected it, but I was still a bit gutted. They have to wait until I am at least 12 and a half because they found a large cyst at my early scan that may need removing if it's grown
