Would you risk it?

Hi ladies could do with some opinions on this!

We already have B whose 3 and we've been ttc since January, had a miscarriage in June and my periods just returned so back to normal hopefully.

Now my dilemma is we've booked a holiday next June abroad in a villa with friends and family.

If I was to fall pregnant this month I would be due end of April meaning that it would only be 5 weeks till we go away.

Worst case scenario only 3 weeks and there's always the risk I'd have a c section although if I follow a similar pattern as my labour with B I'm not too worried.

Am I giving myself enough time to sort out baby's passport, adding onto flights and everything else you have to worry about? Like establishing breastfeeding etc

I'm a very organised person and have a very hands on hubby. I would have lots of help on holiday and I go there every year so know the area, drs etc.

I so want a baby and this is the last month we could possibly ttc until we would have to go on hold till December time anyway.

Any thoughts would be appreciated x

Give it a one more go! You'd kick yourself if you didn't! If you do fall pregnant you can get everything sorted for an emergency passport before babies even arrived!

I really regret skipping a month TTC for a holiday! 4 months later we are still trying and I feel like I wasted a month! Xx

I would try hun!
Like Holi I held of ttc because i shamefully didnt want a christmas/new year baby & then homiday was approaching.
Im not onto cycle 4 and really wish we just started months back!

You should be able to still add on baby etc have a work with the travel agents that you booked with and see if they have a final date to add anyone onto holiday xxx

A holiday will be over an done with in a week whereas baby will be there forever, go for it! You'll always wonder what if if you didn't. Good luck xx

I'd def go for it. 2nd babies tend to be easier labours / less chance of emcs / easier recovery (I say this very broadly of course) although I'd have not personally fancied a holiday 5 weeks after either baby!!

However it's silly to forgo a holiday for something that may or may not happen. Maybe get some comprehensive holiday insurance in case you do have to cancel.

X

Thanks ladies - knew you would tell me just what I want to hear!

So this is our last month ttc till December so fingers crossed we get our sticky BFP! X

My second is six weeks today (first is 2.5y).

I could TOTALLY be on holiday right now.

Go for it xx
