Worried!!

hey ppl, i just found out am pregnant (7 wks ish the doc thinks) but today have started bleeding slightly. My other pregnancy symptoms have eased a bit, is this okay?? worried lady!!! what should i do? x

If its heavy hun go to the hospital to make sure everything is ok. What color is the bleeding?
As for the symptoms easing i dont have any and have just phoned my midwife she said it was normal xxx

started off as light pink, now is brown-ish. Stopped feeling & being sick on the plus side! but omg am i worried! not been pregnant b4

Thanks hun, think will phone the docs! this is the scariest most worrying thing i've ever experienced! i'm usually so chilled & relaxed & not alot bothers me but the last week has been such a rollercoaster!! my fella so wants things 2 b okay makes me feel under pressure if goes wrong! fingerscrossed! so pleased i found this forum otherwise would have no-one to talk to...

I echo what Shauna said, just take yourself down to your local Early Pregnancy Unit. I did that rather than calling ahead first and they were great and scanned me there and then. Im hoping that you would get similar treatment.

Also, alot of women bleed when they would normally be due on (4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks) and the fact it is now brown sounds like old blood but i'm far from a midwife so get checked out hun. Hope it's all ok.

I would get it checked out, I know people say brown blood is ok and not to worry, but its blood, I started with brown blood and it ended up as a MMC, so I don't trust the colour of the blood, far better to get yourself down to EPU and get a scan

cheers ladies! well phoned them & they basically said to phone back if bleeding & pain today but thankfully not! weren't very reassuring or supportive either, jus said to take it easy so thats exactly what i'm doing!! is v diff care in cornwall i think. i don't want to dis it but it aint as gd as alot of other places. Hey hun try not to stress at all. It's common to bleed lightly in early pregnancy. You could be around 8 weeks. As sometimes your body is adjusting n remembers "oh wait, no periods there's a baby in here"

Go to the early pregnancy unit, don't call just walk in as an emergency patient. Get seen n hope all is well. Pregnancy symptoms vary from woman to woman.
Mine started at 6 weeks n stopped at 10 weeks.
