Hi everyone,
I had a miscarriage about 8 - 9 weeks back in May/June resulted in me bleeding on and off for several weeks. I have finally gotten to a place physically where I feel normal, although it’s still hard to think about. Anyways, I took a break from my pill to give my body a break and started back on last month. My period is 3 -5 days late (I spotted a few days prior to the last period so I’m not sure which day would be considered the first day) and I took a positive test. I’ve only taken one, but have been experiencing symptoms such as nausea and very sore breasts. I have not told my boyfriend yet as I am waiting to talk to my doctor in a few days, we were both very upset when I miscarried. I guess what I’m looking for is some encouragement. I am so so worried there is something wrong with me and I’m going to miscarry again and everything I feel I am over analyzing. I am having very mild cramping (nothing compared to what I had before) and it’s just getting to me. I have a wonderful 6 year old already so I know that I can have a healthy pregnancy, it’s just been several years. If you miscarried did you go on to have healthy pregnancies?

I am so sorry about your loss honey! I have read that you are more fertile after a miscarriage. And there is nothing wrong with you and you must remember that. You can't control if you are going to miscarry or not, it just happens and it's not because of anything you did.

I had a miscarriage in early March and bled for a couple weeks on and off as well. I found out I was pregnant again at the beginning of May. I am now almost 20 weeks so there is hope! Keep your head up and try not to stress about it.

Thank you so much! It’s just so disheartening and combined with the shock of it happening again so soon. Congrats on your rainbow baby. <3

Thank you!

I am keeping you in my thoughts. I hope the very best for you and this pregnancy!

P.S. I am a FLORIDA mommy too! <3

Woo! I just called my doctor and had blood work done today. I had asked about testing progesterone as well. Having a good feeling this time around - the symptoms are stronger and overall just feeling more confident. I will try to update once I get my blood done again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's hard and your head is all over but it really doesn't mean anything will be wrong!
I miscarried our first baby at 12 weeks, we tried for a year afterwards with no luck and decided to take a break to get married. After one rather passionate night I fell pregnant, needless to say we were both terrified too. I had no symptoms until 8 weeks either (the first I was ill before we even found out). The pregnancy went perfectly and we now have an amazing 5month old son!!
Unfortunately miscarriage is very, very common, and although it feels like the end of the world you should just try to stay positive. I hope everything turns out well for you (I'm sure it will!) and just try to embrace and enjoy your pregnancy :)

If you're feeling symptoms this early on, that's a really good sign!! Most miscarriages are caused by an abnormal embryo, its spontaneous and happens about 20% of the time. There's nothing anyone can do to prevent it and it doesn't mean you'll have another one. It was probably just bad luck that time around x

Just got the call from my doctors nurse today with the results. They took blood Friday and this morning/Monday (I tried to go Sunday but the hospital said they don’t do non-emergency blood draws on the weekend). My progesterone is in normal range and my hcg went from 282 to 939! I feel so much better. They will be calling back to schedule more blood work and then hopefully in a few weeks an early ultrasound. <3
