woke up this morning to some brown blood....only got a positive pregnancy test the other day .......is it normal?

I'm having a similar situation to you though i'm a little further along. I know a slight bleed earlier on in pregnancy is not neccessarily anything to worry about and implantation bleeding or a slight bleed around the time your period would be due is fairly normal.
I would call you GP or midwife and get it checked to put your mind at rest though.

Its more than likely an implantation bleed try not to worry too much
