Anyone else been deserted for the World Cup? Suddenly my OH is nowhere to be seen doesn't care about eating dinner together and this evening literally just rang to say he wouldn't be home til after the first game at 7 or something. Bloody football - didn't realise I'd be spending the next three weeks fending for myself! X

I gave the opposite problem lol hubby gates football and I wanna watch England games damnit!! Our boy needs to learn the World Cup us important.

Could you not suggest you watch them together??

Apparently LO Isn't allowed near me when matches are on... I don't use child friendly language lol

Haha I'll watch bits but I'm not interested in it really and he wants to go out and watch it with boys - even though he never goes out with guys any other time! It's so funny! X

The game in Saturday isn't till 11pm! Surely he c&g still be out at pub then!

I'd rather my other half disappeared for the games...! Instead, she and my stepson hog the TV. I'm going to be spending the next three weeks in the bedroom watching TV there - can't bear the noise of football on TV.

My boyfriend doesn't like football. Honestly don't think I'd cope if he did. I remember how bad my dad was when I was little. He didn't used to move from the tv for hours!

Football has a strange effect on men!

I'm a fan of football while the other half isn't, he just doesn't get it!
Not really interested in this World Cup whereas he is? Bizarre turnaround for a change!

Im so glad my other half dont care about football or any other sports. He dont take much notice in my pregnancy anyway (It would be nice if he did) but none of the less i get to watch whatever i want on the tv =D

I'm due on cup final day. My dd was born on her due date so kind of hoping if it happens again, England aren't in the final because I'd be gutted if I missed that lol

I love the World Cup! Currently watching it alone as hubby is sleeping. I'm Italian so want both teams to do well, this game is way too intense for my stress levels!!

I am a football widow too. I wouldn't mind so much if James didn't have to watch all the bloody games! We had the footie on from 5pm till we went to bed last night. I am so sick of football. I don't mind him watching it though but i think i am gonna have to prize myself away from my gorgeous man and watch tv in the bedroom alone just to keep myself sane lol xx

JnyFer, it's a bit like that here. My other half is happy to only watch the England ones and the occasional one that is important to the group or whatever, but my stepson has to watch every single one. He's got a TV in his room so sometimes we make him go up there and watch because I cannot be doing with several football matches a day.

We only just replaced our bedroom TV last week and I am so, so glad right now!

I HATE FOOTBALL! Pregnancy is enough of a romance killer but pregnancy AND the World Cup??? Grrrrrrrrrr

Well I got a break from the football as I ended up having to be away last weekend and now I get a break til Monday because OH is away. But I'd rather have him at home really and have to put up with the football! Although it is ridiculous he can't focus on more than two sentences of conversation if it's on! X
