Leif wont stop crying and i cant figure out why, he has infacol, we have tried Gripe water and even given him Calpol but nothing will stop him. He seems to stop for all of 5 mins when i rock him but the second i sit down he's off again.

Surely it cant be colic as he they are supposed to grow out of it by 3 months arent they??

Oh and his temperature is ok.

Its either wind or teeth. Do you have medised. I use it if I think they need a help getting over.

Try lying him on the floor and flexing his legs up into the froggie position then down straight to get the wind out of him, nice and slowly. A good winding too.

Thats all i can think of,

Hope he is okay

Thanks for replying.

He is trumping fine as usual, he trumps a lot anyway. I know he has been getting frustrated with his gums lately but you can always tell when that is cause he has his fist in his mouth and growls at it, its quite funny.

I've never heard of medised, what is it?

medised is a fab medicene to help with any pain and it also helps the child sleep smotthly..

how is he today hun!

Are his nails cut? Isaac's having mad fist eating sessions and I think he keeps cutting inside his mouth, that's whats making him upset (I think). I wrap a finger in muslin and let him chew on it, that seems to please him, also rocking/swaying with him to settle, also putting him on the breast is a sure way to soothe him, does Leif have a dummy? I hope he's better today, very best wishes

Thanks for replying ladies.

He seems ok at the moment and he managed to sleep well last night once we had gone to bed.

His nails are cut as well as i can cut them but he tends to suck his fist rather than fingers so he wont cut his mouth.

I shall go and see if boots has some Medised today and get some more infacol to be on the safe side.

Ooops spoke to soon he started moaning again and not even rocking him would sooth him this time, so i dropped everything and took him round to my auntys who lives a couple of doors away and sat in her back garden and he was fine.

I'd say it way most likely a bit of colic.
Try winding him as much as you can during the day, as it all builds up and can be a nightmare at night. Brody had it quite bad for a month or 2 till he was about 5 months.

nothing helpful to add but thought you needed these
