Hi all!
I'm about 8 weeks pregnant and me and my husband knew from the moment we found out I was expecting that we would be keeping the gender of our baby a surprise and not finding out.
Since we've told a few close friends the second thing they ask is if we are going to find out if it's a boy or a girl. When we say no, we'd like the surprise, most of them have looked at me like I'm mad!
Our main reason we gave to people when asked to explain why we were waiting was that we just want to have that sacred, Hollywood moment straight after you've given birth and they say "Congratulations! It's a boy!" or, y'know, "She's a healthy baby girl! Congratulations!"
I realise it's really common and normal now to find out what you're having, but I just wondered if you ladies did and the reasons why? And if you didn't, your reasons why!
