Will he stop when it's empty?

At 8 we had a 20 min feed, then a nappy change, he wanted more so about 8.40 I put him back on the same boob thinking it would only be 5 mins... He's still going? Will he stop when it's empty and ask for more?

Ermmmm, im not sure to be honest! I tend to alternate sides so if he finished on one boob i would always offer the other one just incase the first was empty. If he's still feeding, rather than comfort sucking i'd leave him to it. Hope he's stopped for you by now though.X

Your breasts will never "empty" as such. Your little one is still very young. Let him lead the way and if he wants to comfort suckle, then let him...it will slow down in time.

Give your boobs a rest though and as Peapod says, offer both breasts otherwise you could end up getting sore. xxx
