Ive got one worse. I had a section so I was totally paralysed from the chest down, and I had an allergic reaction so they gave me some medicine up my bum (which I didnt even know about til afterwards
) but I did know that I had full on diahrrea right there in surgery in front of at least 8 health professionals, my OH and my newborn son. I couldnt feel it and couldnt control it. Aparently its a side effect of what they gave me. Thanks very much guys. If a little bit of poo comes out when Im pushing on my next baby Ill be overjoyed
its all about perspective!
Also just thought Id point out poo only happens during the final stage of labour, any other time if you need a poo, you just go to the toilet like normal, you'll have a toilet attached to your labour room.
