Why do I keep fainting????

I fainted 2 or 3 times when I was pregnant with Joseph, but this week takes the biscuit. I had to sit on the floor making breakfast on Wednesday morning & yesterday at home I fainted twice. The house was warm, so I turned the heating down & had a cold drink, but felt almost drunk the whole day. Today doing the weekly shop in the queue I did it again (very embarrassing!)
I have my midwife appointment on Tuesday. But has anyone else been the same or know why? I've also been ridiculously thirsty too!
I'm gonna be covered in bloody bruises at this rate!!!

High or low Blood pressure can cause fainting? also lying on ur back resticts blood flow or something?x

Awww that doesn't sound good hun. I know fainting in preg can be normal but you best see your GP and midwife about it as it's happening so much xx

I have been the same, I have days where it makes me useless

The midwife said it's low blood pressure causing it, and I have to try not to get too hot, and not stand for too long, also drink more water

blood sugar levels can cause fainting if they are too low hun
Also body temperature, for example i fainted once i got out of a very hot bath (i havent done that again) however i oftern have to sit on the floor after getting out the bath as i often get faint.
My advice would be to tell your midwife as high/low blood pressure can also cause fainting and keep a bottle of water and a little snack with you all the time

Thanks girls. When I have my midwife appointment I'm having my blood pressure & bloods done to check my iron levels & blood pressure. I try not to have the heating on too high aswell as it makes me feel poorly!

As Vicxzy said i think i could be high/low blood pressure. Definitely phone you midwife, hope it goes soon. xxx
