Which Formular

I have put Ellie on one bottle of Formular a day, since Sunday (OK so that is only two bottles). How has others got on with Aptamill, or would would you receommend a different brand.

Just interested in which formular you use and why, and what ones you haven't got on with.

I've heard many Mums say that Aptamil is the best substitute for breastmilk but i'm afraid I don't know too much about formulas, sorry xx

I used sma stay down cos liv had realllllly bad reflux and that helped. I tried aptimal and she wasnt having any of it x

Sma gold with all 3 of my Boys. My first one was on cow and gate first but he kept being sick on it so I changed to sma gold and had no problems..stuck with it ever since!

I'm a sma gold mummy too! I tried aptimil with charley but he wouldn't take it but all babies are different x.

I think it's just trial and error, we've been through most of them but aptamil just made my LO really constipated. He eventually ended up on SMA staydown but we've been able to move back to SMA Gold since he started weaning.

I've just started introducing Aptamil to Isla after 8 weeks of EBF. We used a carton yesterday but today have given her the powder stuff. Apparently the cartons are closest to breast milk - more creamy - but more expensive!

I was using aptamil til 10week n health visitor advised because she struggles to poop sometimes and its clearly painful to her to try a different one, so i tryed cow & gate and shes much more settled now and can poop better

Might be worth tryin one a day to see what suits ur LO better

I'm giving Freddie one bottle a day of sma gold at the mo and he seems to like it. No problems with it so sticking with it so far. Upping him to 2 bottles by end of week so will see if having more a day has any adverse effects.

Alfie has had Cow and Gate number 1 since birth with no probs xx

Donovan was on Cow and Gate stage 1 until 5 weeks old then I moved him onto Cow and Gate Stage 2 Hungry baby because he was having 5oz every hour and a half! Both have been fab no probs with constipation and he has only been sick 3/4 times in the last 3 months, the cartons send him doolally though i dont know why?! he gets really restless and wont sleep and needs feeding very soon after if i use them so ive stopped and only ever make the feeds up myself now xxx

aex had aptamil whilst i was breastfeeding but now he is on sma gold

Grace was on SMA Gold, never had any problems with it at all x
