We saw one in Mothercare last week, very similar to the 2nd link you have posted but it catered for 6 - 36 months so grew with the child more. Not sure how much it was but we were planning on getting him one for Christmas too. Let me know how you get on with them and your choice etc.

Hiya

We Bought Olivia This One For Her 1st Birthday

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... 672277.htm

She Loves It, I Really Like It Too As The Handle That Is Used To Push It Stears The Front Wheel, On Most Trikes Like This It Doesn't And You Have To Keep It Tipped On It's Back Wheels While Pushing As The Front Wheel Goes Where It Likes!

It Also Come With A Bar That Goes Around The Child (you cant see it in this pic) For Smaller Children! You Can Take This Off For Older Children, You Can Also Take The Big Handle Off Too!

Here Is The Boys One

In This Pic You Can See The Bar That Goes Around The Child, It Is Good If The Child Is A Bit Wobberly When They Are Sat On It! It Has A Strap Too!

It Looks A Bit Pricey But It Is Well Worth The Money!

EDIT: Forgot To Mention This Bike Is From 10 Months To 4 Years

I actually quite like the look of that one so it's on my list of options. The picture of Olivia on the bike with the little boy in the back made me giggle.

I am going to get Jake a bike/trike for his 1st birthday and I was looking at these two today in Mothercare. Has anyone got either and if so what do you think of them. If not which one do you think looks best or have you got any other ideas. By the way the first link shows a pink bike as it is a clearer picture than the boys one.
