Where to begin...?

I'm only 8 weeks but my partner and I have had a girls name picked out for months, and this weekend the middle name popped into my head suddenly. So if we have a girl she will probably be Evelyn Amelia... And Evie for short.

We're struggling with boys names so I'm glad we have a lot of time to think about it! My partner wants to call it Xavier but I have vetoed it as it's a little too unusual for me. He also likes Bruce which is another no. The names we agree on are Noah and Reuben, and another that my partner now likes is Edison (Eddie for short). But we're totally stuck on middle names!

Me and my husband have had some hilarious moments talking about names (trying not to be too serious about it at the moment). For the girls name we have decided we like i keep seeing it popping up everywhere, I bought some books at the charity shop for these sleepless nights. First book I picked up to read and the main character was called Olivia, which is top of our list lol.

Olivia is a lovely name and is rising in popularity again my niece (7 months old) is Ivy Olivia so of course I think it's beautiful!

Evelyn Amelia sounds very sweet! I also like names Penelope, Evangeline, Olivia/Olive, Ava/Eva/Eve. As for boys i like Isaac, Elijah/Eliah, Tristan, Aaron, Killian, Connor, Hector, Caspar.

Evie is a lovely name. We had quite a few girls names that we liked and were struggling with boys names so decided to wait until we'd had gender scan - now we know we're team blue and still struggling, lol! x

I know a little boy called Edison Jack. We have a Max Dylan and have chosen Theo Jack if this bump is blue. I also love Freddie. Other middle names could be James or William xxx

Getting lots of signs that our sprog will be a boy... One of my friends went to see a psychic and was told that someone she knew is pregnant and will be having a boy (this is before I told her I'm expecting!) and my partner keeps texting me when he's out with the dog saying "I've just seen 4 magpies!" which has happened a few times. Silly things but we both are sort of FEELING like it's a boy too. Will have to wait and see!

I loved eddison. Such a cute boys name. Thomas, James, jack...they all go nice. I also love Reuben. Think that's my fav boys name at the moment. Reuben Tobias, Ross, maxwell....

I love baby name. Not sure I'd like Bruce either but maybe compromise and us your ohs choices as a middle name? Xd

Haha reading your post I'd think mine and your OH were the same person if mine actually liked the name Noah - one of my all time favourites!

My OH was useless with our first and just vetoed all my names list until we were left with Caleb, which was my favourite anyway, but this time he was much better. Edison was one of his picks from the names book. I actually only vetoed it because I knew it would be Eddie rather than Edison and then people would think he was called Edward.

Reuben was our top choice until OH went off it last time he was offshore. We had picked Reuben Joshua which I still love and am fuming about not being able to use! We're going with Gideon Joshua now.

Good luck choosing! I really enjoyed it last time because I had loads of ideas but this time we've struggled so much!

I've had a girls name picked out for years. But we're having a boy and struggling quite a lot. We've finally shortlisted 5 however no way are we going to decide before hes born. Boys names are just so much harder.
