Because i know i dont like medical stuff i get panicy wen i see needles etc blood i hate it...x

also just thought id add you dont see anything like that when you get a scan at a hospital, you only see corridors and a room with a bed and a scan machine. It wont be any different to a private scan.

if its a private scanning clinic it probably means your local hospital doesn't have an ultrasound unit.

You will still have to have your blood tests etc, and give birth in the hosp.

That's good to know, I've never been there. I'm hoping to give birth at Aboyne Maternity Unit though

I just hope for your sake you get a normal scan and dont need an internal one... as that in itself can be scary.

Im not kidding myself! I just rang the doctors to check .. its a private scaning clinic i should know my friend of the family goes there now because she suffers from panic attacks also. Can we drop this because i can see people are starting to be there usual selfs towards me ..

I know many people would like scans done private .. i can understand that but there is no need for people tell me that ive just got a fear and telling me everything about my docs when ive already spoke to them about it.

I would rather be free from panic attacks and be able to do these things rather than go clinic i dont like being like this but its the way it is.

We are only gonna have a maternity led unit where I live but I am opting to go to the nearest hospital 15 mins away so I can have an epidural

I had no problems athere, Aboyne is supposed to be really good

How do u call this rubbing up the wrong way? All i done was mentiond that im having a private scan whats wrong with that? if i said im getting a channel bag is that rubbing u up the wrong way?
in my honest opion i think its jelousy when there is no need for it.
