when will he say mama?

hi my lo is nearly 10 months and he still doesn't say mama, he has said it before but now its like he refuses too he says dada, nana sometimes and even says the cats name tigger (or tita to him) i try to teach him im mama but he goes blank. daddy doesnt help much he calls me monkey

i wouldn't worry mama is often one of the last words to be said
because of the hard way it is formed. my little one didn't say mama
till he was about 14 months or so. he could say grandad an even chocolate before mama!

DS started saying it a couple weeks ago, so it could be any day now

I remember it was the first thing Ella said, I was so chuffed. Then she started saying dada when she was quite old, about 10 months, and wouldn't stop!

Libby doesn't say mama either - she says dada all the time
Thats all she says....oh and baba which is her baby When she cries though it sounds like mama, but i wonder if thats cos I;m trying to hear it

maybe your not Em...D says mama mostly when he wants something they know who does the hard owrk lol
