When to put the cot down a level

Yesterday Baby Gaga started crawling up the sofa and getting herself to her feet all by herself, and she wont stop.

Her cot has been at the high level til now.

Me and OH thought perhaps we gotta take it down to the low level now, in case she decides to have a party to herself in the night and tries it in her cot and takes a dive.

So, should we do it now, and is there anything to look out for when its lower?

Definitely take it down now, nothing much to watch for other than them trying to climb out of it

We put Buttons down as soon as she could get to her knees. Its much the same as having it high, cept I can't reach the matress to put her in when she's asleep now, if the DH is at work and I have to do it, I have to pivot on my belly on the side of the crib and my feet leave the floor lol.
