When to book midwife appointment?

I saw my GP yesterday and she gave me lots of information and we had a good chat about my news. She also gave me a telephone number to call and arrange my midwife care but I feel abit silly calling so early in my pregnancy in case something goes wrong but also worried in case I miss out on an earlier booking in appointment.

How far along were you when you booked in and at how many weeks did they recommend the initial visit/appointment?

I booked mine in as soon as we found out - I saw the midwife when I was about 9 weeks i think(found out at 6 weeks).
If you've a number then just give the MW a call - i'm sure they'll be more than happy to answer any queries you have

You are meant to have first MW appointment around 8-10 weeks according to my GP xx
