When do/did you announce??

Hey ladies....hope its ok Im still in the TTC as until I hear it from a nurse or do my CBD I would like to stick around here....anyway....obviously Im bursting to shout it out....and were do a family get together on Easter sunday fror brunch so though with having everyone together this might be a good time to tell them....what do you all think?
Havent said anything to DH yet as thought I would get your opinions here first then decide lol ...

Tell them when you feel ready hub, I personally wanted to wait but I know people who shouted from the roof tops! My pregnancy was a shock so took some getting my head around

Thanks Mrs H..... Yes I think we will get a mixed reaction as I am 38 and our two girls are 16 so I think they will have some negative stuff to say once the news is broken.....but were happy and its what we want so luckily Im thick skinned and dont pay attention to what they think or say lol xxx

Ahh they may be a bit surprised at first, but as your going to tell them face to face they will see how happy you both are about it they will also be pleased for you. (I can tell how happy you are, and this is just from a message!!)

At 38 with 16year olds, you will have so much time for a new baby, it's perfect!!

Hope it goes well if you decide to tell them this weekend, you could do something fancy at the table to revel the fact that your going to have another baby - I know you - your the creative type!!

Ah thanks JJ.....your right Im sure they will be happy for us I think they will just be thinking OMG a baby when our girls are 16 but like you said we will have more time and lots of practice inder our belts this time around! lol

Well JJ funny you should say that.....Ive just finished making their easter cards and Ive gone with a cracked egg theme so was thinking of putting a pic of my test result if I get a CBd result so when they pull it apart they also get a nice easter surprise!!!! Hee hee Im bursting to tell everyone!!!!!!!!!

Weve told one of our daughters the other is at her mams (Dh from first marraige so were collecting her on way for brunch on sunday too so she would find out then....things a bit tempramental there atm so not sure how she will take it but her mother has a child to her BF and SD is fine with that and tbh we did discuss this with the girls on hols last year and SD thought it was a great idea so hopefully she will be pleased......xxxxx

Ha TM i know thats exactly what I feel like doing.....lol!! Wish my parents were here to hear the news but Ive begged them enough the last few weeks to help us achieve this so I hope they know too lol xxx

Sorry for your loss TM....yeah its very sad....My parents both got to see DD tho and Im sure they will be able to see whats going on wherever they are now and sure they will be smiling!

Ha I know that feeling kellylou......I was only married 3 months when I got pregnant with DD and still only 21 so I was terrified of telling them simply because they would then aknowledge that Id been having sex....hahahaha how stupid is that!!! lol But needless to say they were delighted and couldnt wait for her to be born!!!

Im sure your parents will be over the moon too!!!!


So is this your first appointment at Drs? Im wondering if I should go see my nurse next week and hopefully by then I will have a BFP on my CBD.....I kinda feel strange going this early but when we discussed with Dr that we were TTC she said she wanted to see me the week I got pregnant with having ME etc to check what meds are compatible with being pregnant! xxx

We told our close family and I told my best mate the day we found out. We had been trying for over a year and were about to start IVF so we had to tell close people that we had done it ourselves

We told everybody else like work friends after the 12 week scan xx

you just know when the feeling rights we prefered to wait till 12 weeks cos we wanted to make sure everything okay but its as soon as ur ready

Thanks Alanjs....yup your right I suppose we will know if its the right time or not....one thing I know is that if I dont get a CBD + I wont be saying anything until I get one or confirmation that its real! lol!!

Ah wow PJ IVF.....ah thats great......!!!

Well I think my inlaws may have an idea that we are trying or even think we already preg anyway as when they were here for my Bday my sis in law opened a drawer to get some foil wrap out and my Preconcieve pills were in there and she may have seen them lol!!

But Im starting to freak about retesting tomorrow as DH is out at 5am shooting and wont be back till about 6pm tomorrow and if its comes back as a BFN I will be in a right fettle....arrrggggghhhhhh!!!

But Ive decided to do the CBD tomorrow tho.....xxx

we told the family when we found out. so around 6 weeks.
not that me and my OH wanted too ( the MIL !!)

when we do get pregnant again, were not telling anyone untill were ready!

Ha good old MIL's....lol! Well I think we may tell close family tomorrow if I am sure its def a BFP (see CBD update) and prob wait to tell friends after 12 weeks when we know all is well!!

We didnt tell anyone until i was 12 weeks as we didnt want to jinx it and we wanted time to get our head around it first.

It was really hard to keep it from everyone as i started showing around 8 weeks but glad we did.
