we picked our girls name almost instantly but couldnt agree on a boys name what so ever, good job at the 20wk scan we were told we're having another girl lol! xx
We have 2 of each names decided, we pretty much know what we like and what we don't and I am so surprised that we have agreed on something and actually made a decision! I've got my brothers name for a boy and we choose another as Mr W wanted another one incase peanut doesn't look like his name! So exciting choosing names though
We've found it really hard to narrow our list down but have a top 3 now & will wait till we meet him to see what suits him best. We'll probably have the rest of the list with us at delivery too just in case we need them for back up!
We started talking about names as soon as I fell pregnant the first time, so even though I'm not actually pregnant at moment we have already got a boys name we are certain on and 2 girls names.
For our 20 year old daughter, Nicki Louisa, it was always a name I loved for a girl - we called her NickiLou when she was younger, which she hated!.. !.
My husband is called William Alexander, so we just swapped these over for our little boy. We wanted to give him another name, so in honour of the fantastic midwife who helped me with my breathing through my labour, we gave him her surname, Fraser: Alexander William Fraser McHue.
We had our last boys name since 2001 when I was preg with my daughter, then 9 years on, I used the name we had chozen for a boy back in 2001 , when he was born in 2011 !! If a name stands the test of time, it's a gooden!
