When did you all start buying things for your little ones?

I've only just bought one thing which was a cute little shorts and tshirt set but I have a loads of things that my gran bought me. Nappies, cream, wipes, ear buds and a few outfits. She also has knitted 4 cardigans and 6 pairs of booties with more on the way. My mum is knitting mad as well!
My parents and brother are buying us the pram and cot but I've told them not to buy them until June as I don't want to get them too early. Although I am week 18 I am still a bit weary of buying big things at this stage.
