I'm having a Tesco's 'stick-in-the-oven' shepherd's pie and just doing some carrots and brussels to go with it, as my OH is working nights this week and it's only me & Amber... plus I'm way too knackered tonight to actually cook something from scratch!

Actually they were our appetiser - we're having something from the freezer later but joined DD in the pancake experience!

we had sausage and bean pie that DD made by herself as I was feeling poorly earlier!

I'd already browned the veggie sausages and made the mash. She just mixed the sausages with baked beans, put them in the pie dish and topped with the mash! She even grated cheese on top bless her - all while I was napping on the couch! I could get used to that! (just in case you're worried...I took it out of the oven when it was hot, she's only 8!)

We are having pancakes in a bit but I'll be doing those myself!

Just had Jamie's everyday crispy chicken with penne pasta then I had a cheeky pancake, Maia and hubby ate the rest of the pancakes. I was so glad I waited till last for mine as I reckon I could have easily polished off another if there was any batter left.
